Winter is just around the corner

Not much new to report. I haven’t had much time to do anything with the horses since we’ve gotten back from the clinic. I wish I could say I have all of the exercises perfected but let’s face it – we all know better then that by now.

Saturday the weather was decent but it wasn’t great. My plans to finish up my winterizing in the barn were cut short since both of my parents were feeling ill and I didn’t want to keep Ty out in the cold. MIL came over and we grabbed some feed and I decided to head over to her place to spend the night with the boys. It was a good decision because DH had a bad call at work Sunday am and needed some time to himself.

MIL had decided that Black (now known as Ma-maw) is hers. I’m not sure how she’s come to that decision but she does enjoy her and enjoys having a companion for Sis. Black looks wonderful! I switched her to Triple Crown Senior just prior to taking her to MIL’s and she has packed on the pounds! She’s moving great too!

Not the best photo I know. It was overcast and misty but I wanted one before we left.

When I went out to chore Sunday night I found this in Abby’s stall (we have concrete floors). Anyone have a Jack Russell I can borrow for a week or two?
