He was a bit concerned about her shoulder but said she couldn’t have picked a better place for an impact like that. He said w/deep muscle/bone bruising it can take up to 3 weeks to heal. She is on stall rest and bute and she does not like it!
She’s not eating her grain. I’m not sure if it is from the stress from being stalled, away from her buddies, in a new barn, having bute in her food or a mixture of all of the above. Mona only has a few boarders so Abby has the entire west side of the barn to herself.

You know how they have those tv's that have like fish or a roaring fire? You need to get her one that has a herd of horses so she doesn't feel all alone.
LOL well when I put her in the indoor this am while I cleaned her stall I came in to find her looking at herself in the mirror.
she looks lonesome for sure
