Time out!

Little miss kit Cat is in a time out right now. The older she gets the more she reminds me of her mother. This isn't a bad thing but somedays it makes me want to kill her.

Lately she's decided it is optional to stay behind my electric fence. I'm not sure if it has a short in it or if she just doesn't mind the zap but last night she went through it 3 times!!! I had her in the back pasture w/Lu and Bell and she decided the front pasture with Abby, Black and Nikki looked like a better option. After the 3rd time I said enough was enough and put her in my round pen by herself w/some hay and a bucket of water. She's going to stay there until I have the fence zapping w/enough voltage to really shock her when she tries to walk through it again.



Abby seems to be healing well. She's going to go spend some time at MIL's. MIL is worried though since Sis despises Abby for some reason. I told her she has two pastures - put one in one and the other one in the other one. Here is an updated photo from last night (cell phone + dark stall = poor quality). You can see it is healing pretty well. She still has a small hitch in her giddy up but she does seem to be improving.
