Yeah, Why does ACTHA have you dismount like that? It seems unnatural. Is it supposed to be safer?
Per their rules - The rider`s foot should not be left in the stirrup once the 2nd foot touches the ground (unsafe).
I always forget about this since I don't typically dismount this way.
