Photo Shoot

Sunday I went down South to Danny's to take some pictures of his "herd" for his website.  The wind was blowing 100 miles an hour and the sun kept coming and going.  It seemed like the sun was "going" when Boon's ears were forward and his eyes were bright.  It had been a long morning cleaning him up and clipping him up so by now he was pretty done with us.

Here are a few of my favorites.  What do you think?

What camera did you use?

The horses all look great. Here's a critic on the photography. Keep in mind the light on a bright day is very tough to work with. You did a good job.
1st shot really show a nice hip
2nd too much shadow on the right shoulder. Might be able to bring this up in something like picasa.
3rd, 4th, and 5th are good with the 5th having some nice lighting effects. The foal shots are very nice. I like the 5th shot the best. Shows movement and it's framed nicely.

LOL John, I don't like how the 5th one turned out. I was usuing my mom's Nikon. Not sure the details on it. I haven't used it before so it took some playing around.

Yep, I know about the light but had to do w/what I had (he lives 2 hrs. away). These aren't "pro" shots by any means but we wanted better then pasture pics.

Never used Picasa.

Thanks for the feedback!
