Quick Update

FYI - Quick means a ½ a page vs. 3 pages.


Bang (our cat) managed to hurt himself sometime last week. He was 3 legged but he seemed to get better so we ignored it, figured one of the kids slammed his foot in the door and he’d get better. Well his foot started to get better and then started to swell so we decided it was time to go to the vet. He had an abscess (what is it with me and animals with abscesses) so she drained his foot and he is now on antibiotics.

What a nice couch. It even has little strings attached to keep me entertained.


Last night we went out to get some video of Max for a prospective buyer (I doubt she’ll buy him as she wants his papers) and that didn’t go so well. Needless to say the camera got put down and he got the sh*t ran out of him. Obviously he hasn’t been RP’d in a while. He was worried about where the other horses were and he wasn’t paying a bit of attention to me. Needless to say we had a short meeting and he finally saw things my way.

We ended out little session with some flexing and then he got to stand in the corner of his stall for about 3 hours. Friday we’ll be going to an indoor to ride (it’s supposed to rain the rest of this week) and hopefully the dressage trainer will get on him and I can get some video.

Tonight is roping night! Woo hoo! I can’t wait!
