Can you believe it?

Thursday it was around 40* here so DH decided to take Max on a ride (can you believe it?). He took him down the road a few miles and when I asked how he did DH's reply was "he was an angel".

He said he stopped for a minute at the gate south of my parents and then stopped to check out the cows but other then that he was great.

Today we went and picked Black up. She could stand to gain a few pounds and her feet need some work but she's not nearly in as bad of shape (hoof wise) as she was when we got her.

The trimmer comes Monday so we'll get her back on a normal schedule with her feet and we'll also start graining her a bit and watching her sugar intake. Hopefully it won't take too long to rehab her this time.
