Well it sounds like I’m going to have my hands full with Cat when she comes home. MIL called the other day to tell me how ornery she’s been. Apparently she likes to run up to her and rear and then do a 180 and buck as she hauls ass out of the barn. She also told me about how she tried to bite her to get a treat and how she’s been doing this and doing that.
DH was even shocked (that should say a lot). His response was “but she was so good here”. I told him I’m not sure what it is MIL does to horses to cause them to be so disrespectful so quickly but I’ve decided maybe it isn’t what she does but what she doesn’t do.
MIL told me she doesn’t envy me at all when it comes to breaking out Cat. Before she went over there I figured it would be a walk in the park but now I have a feeling I’m going to have a lot of work to do when she gets back.

It's like when the substitute teacher comes in and the students all have a grand ol' time. ("Mr. Smith NEVER gives us homework")
Once the regular teacher gets back the students fall in line pretty quick. I think it will be the same for Cat. She'll figure out pretty quickly the party is over ;>)
