NHR - Animal Neglect **WARNING** Photos may be too graphic for some

Just down the road from mom & dad is a cattle farmer. I'd say he is in his mid to late 40's, single and he still lives at home with his elderly parents. He owns a few houses that he rents out. We actually rented from him prior to the house we are in now.

I have ridden past his place and his cattle since I was a little girl so it wasn't very easy for me to ride past the other day to see his cattle looking sick and underfed. DH told me that someone turned him in but nothing has been done so I decided to take matters into my own hands after seeing a cow trying to eat a pile of net wrap that was once on a big bale.

FYI - DH was my camera"man" so I think the following pictures are pretty good considering.

Wednesday when we rode past I thought this cow was calving. According to DH today she is dead and in the exact same spot we saw her on Wed.



There is no food for them to eat. Just dirt & trees.




This poor cow was still eating the net wrap today since there was no food to eat.



I will never understand why people feel this is an acceptable way to treat our animals.
