It’s a No Go on Max

But that’s ok. I didn’t feel very comfortable with her anyways (you know how you get those gut feelings). She left me a VM while I was out to lunch. She felt he was a nice horse but thought that he was stiff/lame on his one back foot more so then just having long toes. She said he was also a bit hesitant to go on the gravel road and gimped a little bit. I’m sure he did. He’s barefoot and he’s been standing in mud in the pasture so his feet are soft. Depending on where she rode (on the side where there is a lot of gravel or in the middle where it’s rock hard) I’m sure he was a bit ouchy but nothing boots or shoes couldn’t fix.

She’s been dealing with a chronically lame horse though so she doesn’t want to deal with another one. I can’t say as though I blame her but I think she’s on crack if she thinks Max is even remotely lame.

I really wish we had the cattle to work with. I think I could easily get Max going with a little bit of time and patience.

Good luck to her. Not sure the perfect horse exists...I bought the last one ;>)
